The Education Partnership // Awareness Campaign
More than 30, 000 kids in western Pennsylvania don't have basic school supplies, and that has a profound effect on their ability to succeed. There is an organization committed to changing that, but very few people know the problem - or the organization - exists. Together with Chemistry, The Education Partnership forged relationships with area retailers and media vendors to get the word out. Coffee shops displayed posters and accepted donations of school supplies, outdoor boards increased awareness of the issue, and by the time the campaign concluded 16,000 kids had received notebooks, crayons, scissors, pencils and more. What did The Education Partnership recieve? The "Marketer of the Year Award" for not-for-profits from the American Marketing Association.
